About the event

The Role of Peer Specialists in Promoting Health Equity is a four-part series and participants will be asked to attend each module, however you may also join just the modules that you are available for. Rather than a series of Webinars, this will be structured as a training and active participation will be encouraged to promote self-reflection and deeper learning. As a result of their engagement, participants will have a deeper understanding of both the drivers and impact of health inequities on people of color. They will also be

equipped with a framework to provide more effective, culturally relevant peer support services and will have opportunities to build and practice new engagement skills.

Please review our Virtual Learning Etiquette and Attendance Policy in regards to this training which offers continuing education units.
