WORDS MATTER #2

This webinar will explore how the words we use affect individuals in recovery. This session will focus on utilizing words to create greater inclusivity, applying strategies to destigmatize individuals with Substance Use Disorder and performing language audits within your organization.  Research on common terminology will be discussed and commonly held beliefs and myths will be debunked.  Participants will learn strategies to eliminate stigmatizing language through storytelling and conducting a stigma audit.
